We're Here For the Fall 2023 Fashion Trends

Updated: Sep 20, 2023

It's London Fashion Week and London's streets and runways are filled with artistic clothing creations. Not all of us can pull off the amazing look and style combos. We take the top style trends and translate them into daily fall fashion styles that can be found at Epic Sports.

RED HOT

Every season has a featured color. Red will take center stage this Fall and Winter. Add some small pops of fire and warmth to your outfit or create overall breathtaking head-to-toe drama. Scarlet is not for the faint and with this color, you won't go unnoticed.

FUZZY FEATURES

Fall makes us seek out all things soft, furry, and cozy. Turn your outfit into autumn perfection with warm pieces like fuzzy sweatshirts and fluffy hats. Feel comfortable all day without sacrificing style.

LEATHER LUX

Leather is a beloved cold-weather staple in the winter. This year will be filled with new purposed leather styles like leather trench and puffer coats, or leather blazers and circle skirts. Think of your cooler older sibling and take it back to varsity jackets, and crop tops under loose-fitting moto jackets.

HOODS EVERYWHERE

Hoods will always be a fall/winter favorite. This season, hoods will step it up by combining practicality with interesting or more ornate designs. The biggest theme this fall is wearability and hoods are always on that trend. Grow your hoodie collection by adding some new styles like plaid, crop tops, minimalist, or exaggerated style hoods.

SHEER TIGHTS

Hosiery trends are on the rise as evident on the fall/winter runways. As the weather turns brisk, add sheer hose or opaque tights to your outfit. Fun prints or lacy styles can add interest under ripped jeans or usual dresses. With circle skirts making a big comeback, these are the perfect partners to add warmth and style.

BLANKET COATS

Winter is COLD and all you want to do is cuddle up in a cozy blanket. What better way to beat the chill than wear a blanket-like coat to keep you super warm? Long-length coats with sherpa or furry lining will be the favs.

TAILORED VESTS

Think power hour mixed with the low-key trend. Tailored vests can be worn alone or with a tee or button-down shirt. Create a minimalist look by adding pieces as part of a monochrome outfit.

ROMANTIC GOTH

Fashion is exploring the dark dreamy, ethereal looks. It's a whole "Wednesday" inspired vibe with highlights of lace, rosettes, and deep twilight colors. This elegant style creates a more low-key romantic look that fits right in with the fall Halloween celebrations.

CLASSIC BUSINESS

Polished, well-fitted tailoring will always remain a style staple. Structured pieces are forever go-tos that can be mixed and matched with casual to create hybrid looks. Dress up your jeans or add structure to a flowy dress with an added blazer or vest. Simplify slacks when paired with a tee shirt. They call them classics for a reason, they'll never go out of style.

BASIC STAPLES

Fashion is making its return to the ordinary or "Nouveau Normcore". This trend is defined by going minimalistic and casual basic. It's ready-to-go pieces that are easy to wear and budget-friendly. These seasonless wardrobe basics don't feature designer logos or hefty price tags. The capsule wardrobe is meant to be collected and restyled with every season.

MISSING PIECES

Sheer, mesh and forgotten bits have made their way into the fall fashion trends. It appears the fashion industry has accepted we have crazy busy lifestyles but we don't have to sacrifice style. Sheer pieces may not be the most practical in the dead of winter, but you can add texture and interest with these light airy fabrics.
